Anyway, from tomorrow I will be a good student AGAIN. Trust me. :)
I want to talk about the streets full of flashing signboards and walls. I will tell you my opinion based on the seminar that I attended.
Benetton is an Italian company that has been doing the global campaigns especially against the racism. Nowadays, they are changing the show windows from the normal one to the attractive one. They made several shops' windows flashing with huge screens and it's really attracting people.
It's in Milan, Italy.
The whole windows are filled with the screens so people can notice easily it'd benetton. It's beautiful, but it can harm the city's view.
What I want to say is if the flshing sowwindows are good or bad to see.
I think Milian is a quite historical city like most of European cities are. However, does it fit to the city's atmosphere,I mean. I know Milan is not oldschool but the building are very gorgeous and gothic. The dazzling showwindows and signboard cannot be matched as we discussed before.
Too much flashing signboards or showwindows are not good to see because it's too much. In addition, cosidering how it would go with the cities' mood is as important as how they show their tech and creativity.
Yes, you're right. Advertising can be positive or negative. I absolutely love Benetton's ads and the way they use them to encourage diversity.
답글삭제*I'm looking forward to you being a good student again, Whidly ;)
Thanks, Erika. See you tomorrow!
답글삭제If I were a citizen in that city, I insist we could not built flashing sigh boards! Although that is also beautiful, we should protect the old things. It is right that is not mine, but that is belong to all over the world's human. So they should protect them with not build like that.
답글삭제I hate flashing sighboard, especially the one in the subway that are soooo bright and flashing that my eyes get soar and tired.
답글삭제This subject is similar to our past class subject, isn't it?
답글삭제Flashing brightly everywhere really bothers us!
