Hello, everyone. Time flies that the end is near us. I love writing so I often write my thoughts on my diary written 'all my thoughts & the heart talks'. I like this title! My writing will go on. It cannot be on this blog. I prefer writing on notes, by my hand. I am analogue.
The way to write has changed. I enjoyed making a hook before I am in this class because I like finding something funny. However, I didn't used to give background information enough after a hook. Now I think which background information can be enough for a hook and how background info and a hook can be joined smoothly. I can say the process to bring a topic has been upgraded. I am happy to get that precious tip from this class, but I still have loads of curiosity about the natural ways to use idioms or phrases that non-English speaking people don't know easily. It's about the tradition or habit based on where we were born, so it's not easy to get trained. To overcome this, I will read English things and keep practice writing.
I love English so much! Chinese, Italian, as well. My entire goal in my life is to speak 4 languages before I die; Korean(enough, but still need to practicing speaking), English(many steps left to conquer), Chinese(at the very beginning to master), and Italian(I haven't started to learn alphabet yet!).
Have a fabulous vacation, all of you. I wish my vacation will be full of joy and knowledge.
xoxo

It's Personal Choices, Religions
Wearing the black headscarves is one of the most argued issues in Europe. If the people in the black scarves don't look fine in the reason of scaring people or breaking rules in a certain country, it is reasonable to ban it. However, in the aspect of obeying the religion's rules, it is acceptable to wear the scarves.
There are many religions in the world, and among them, some require religious people to wear something to be in faith. The Jews wear kippa, which is a small skullcap. In everyday life, the Jews wear them to honor God. No one bans them to wear kippas, but why should wearing the black scarves be banned? It's the same meaning to honor God, but the different way. Just because Islamic women wear the black scarves, expelling them in state school is unfair. They didn't commit any crime.
Therefore, a prohibition on religious way is not natural. They need to find another way to make balance between religion and national policy.

When in Rome, Do as the Romans Do
Last year, I read an article about prohibiting hijabs' wearing veils in France. The article said because of the more strict inspection to prevent terror, the France government wanted hijabs not to wear headscarves. When they are in chador, only their eyes are seen, so it's relatively hard to identify them. However, hijabs were against this policy because they only followed the religious rule which must be obeyed. As far as I am concerned, wearing headscarves should be banned in a certain country if such a policy is needed. With three reasons, I support the France's situation.
First, the features of covering faces with black scarves can threaten people. When I was walking in Oxford Circus street in London, there were many women in black scarves. The only part of them I could see was their eyes. Between the eyes, thin black band was holding the upper and the rest of the scarf on face. Therefore, two eyes in the cutting square were just seen. It made me keep my eyes on them without being rude, only with curiosity about them. Two or three of them were fine to see, but a group of them were a bit scary. The reason they wear headscarves can be acceptable, but it can scare people enough even though they don't intend to.
Second, as danger of terror gets higher, the security has been tightened up. To identify each person, women's wearing black scarves can be blocking the purpose. By wearing long black or coloured scarves on their body, our curiosities can be up. Worse, they can be suspected in fear of hiding something in the scarves.
Last, wearing the scarves is the strict rule in religion. Nevertheless, each nation has its rules and we should follow the rules when in that country. If you are having a steak, you don't use your right hand as you are from India, and you don't use chopsticks as you are from Korea, Japan, or China. If you are invited to Korean friend's house, you don't enter the house wearing shoes as you are from the US. As you can see, we obey the tradition or custom. It's one of ways to respect each culture. That's why the proverb, when in Rome, do as the Romans do, was born.
To maintain the peace of the world, the respectful attitude is required.
See? The conclusion is always the weakest point in my essay. I don't know how to draw a conclusion.......need a help :(

My Favourite Places to Go
As it is getting more years since I started to live in Seoul, my footage towards out of Gongneung has been decreased. I am from Changwon, which is located near Busan. It takes me 4 hours from Seoul by bus. It was 2008 that I began to live in Gongneung. Seoul was my dream, and its population is much more than Changwon has. I enjoyed going out in freshman even alone. However, it's been 4 years living in Seoul. I sometimes go out of Gongneung. I've got 7 places I like to go generally: Home, Jungrang stream, Tree day, Jijimy, Hollys cafe, Regent Park, and stationary shops. Let me introduce them to you with two type of categories.
I classified the places in the chronological order, from the oldest to the newest I knew. Jijimy, a franchise fusion pub, in Changwon is the oldest place I like to go. One of my old highschool friends used to work there, so we often visited there, and drank a lot. The side dishes are good, and the owner was kind that she gave some dishes for free. That can be the biggest reason why we always went there to drink. The dishes were surely great. After I became a university student in 2008, we started to go drink in Jijimy. We still visit there, but since she quit her part time job, the frequency has been reduced. Near our school, there is one, but I don't go there because the tasty of my favourite dish, seafood jjambbong-tang, isn't like there. The second oldest place is Holly cafe in Changwon. My house is very close from the main street if Changwon, and my best high school friends and I lived near the downtown. We sometimes met in Hollys cafe, and had a cup of coffee in the morning. Whenever we wanted to do something, but nothing to do specially, we would go to Hollys and chat a lot. Unfortunately, my chances to go to Changwon isn't as many as in freshman, so I haven't been in Hollys for ages. The third oldest is Kyobo bookstore. It wasn't in Changwon until 2007. I go to Kyobo to see the stationary, not to see books. I have a great interest on stationary, so I still go and look around which one is new, and buy if it attracts me a lot in my spare time. The fourth is Jungrang stream. When I was sophomore, my boyfriend brought me to Jungrang stream riding a bike. We got to Hanyang Uni. from Seokgye by bicycle. It was my first time to go along the stream. After I knew the way to get to the stream, I often go and walk along in the evening. The fifth oldest is my home. I moved in the current house in 2009. It's the second rental house in Seoul. I lived a smaller room alone in freshman, but my sister also came to Seoul to go to Uni., we needed a bigger room. I met my room in 2009. The sixth oldest is Regent park in London. When I was in London, I would go to the park alone, and enjoyed the sunshine. It was absolutely fine to stroll the paths in the park. I miss the lake, paths, running people, ducks, trees, trash cans, and everything in the park very much. Finally, the newest place is Tree day. It's a wine bar located in Hyehwa. One of my best friends in school and I went there to have some wine. She found several wine bars, but we chose here. It's small bar, but the owner makes cheese with her hands. The candle light adds more romantic atmosphere. The price may not be so reasonable to us, so we decided to go there once a three months. I can guarantee the taste even though I've tasted one bottle of wine there.
The second category is the frequency. Of course, the highest frequency is going home. The second highest is going to Jungrang stream to work out with a friend of mine. The third is visiting stationary shops. Jijimy is the fourth, Regent park is the fifth, Hollys cafe in Changwon is the sixth, and the last is Tree day, a wine bar. I guess the times to go to Regent park is more than to Hollys cafe. I just visited Tree day at once, so it's the least frequency place.

A Girl Who Write As She Feels Like
Hello, everyone. Nice to see you again here. The weather seems to be crazy, so I cannot choose easily what to wear. Take care yourselves in such an annoying change of the season.
This time I would like to tell you how I write. I am a very big fan of writing, especially about me and my days. However, I don't like to show what I write to someone. It's a top secret. :P I have written my diary since I was 21 by myself. Actually, we were forced to keep a diary everyday in elementary school. I didn't enjoy that much as any children did. Unlike that time, recording my each day was my only joy. I collected a mountain of stickers to decorate my lovely diary. Anybody who has seen my diary was surprised how I did. I want to show some picture of it, but the USB that photos are in isn't with me, unfortunately. I will attach them when I get it back from my friend.
Anyway, when I write a diary, I don't think so deeply. Just remind me of what I did well and bad, who was on my nerves, who was nice to me, and so on. I am a person who lacks concentration, but not very, so my writing is fun and not so serious. These days I am writing some serious diary because I don't see my future clearly, though.
My boyfriend sometimes recommends me to be a writer. He is a big fan of my essay, but I don't think I am a good one who can let people touched. I need to be learned.
Let me tell you how I come up what to write when I do in academic way. I have some experience to take a writing exam;in a test to go to the US for free as language study abroad, and to be a student in English Essay Writing class. I couldn't get the chance to go to the US. Yet, I realised I had to learn how to write from then on, so I am here!
Here is how I come up with how I write in another case.
First, when I get the topic that I have to write I try to connect with my own experience. It helps me a lot to develop my essay. I guess I spend less than 20 minutes on finding the related experience. Then, I draw the structure of the direction.
Second, I search for something enable to be connection between the topic and experience. So to speak, it is a transition. I like to use a suitable figure of speech. For instance, when I begin an essay, I like to mention something like fairy tales that the main character replaced by me. It attracts the reader's interest.
Third, I write as well as I can.
At last, I finish the essay referring to my conclusion. It can be suggestions, opinion, whatever. It depends on the genre of an essay.
There is one thing that I didn't know until I failed to go to the US for free. I wrote the conclusion at the end of an essay. Of course, I did at the test. However, sadly, it wasn't a good way in writing. I realised that very much, and now I do mention the main point at the very first paragraph-or it can be at the second-definitely.
That's all for homework this week, and have a nice weekend!
p.s the test to go to the US was held by language centre, and 17 students got the chance. They stayed at Monclair Uni. for 2 weeks.
+ I would like to learn the use of punctuation marks. I am not sure about the marks I used here. Please let me know, Sarah. :)

Nice to Meet You.
Good afternoon, class. This is Jihyun Kang, but you just call me Whidley. My boyfriend gave me my English name. I am pretty indecisive and it's 휘둘리다(hui-dul-li-da) in Korean. That's where my English name, Whidley came from. It sounds the same, doesn't it?
I was born in Busan, but grown in Changwon. I have lived in Seoul since 2007. My parents still live in Changwon so I cannot see them very often.
My major is metal craft art&design, but I don't think I will keep my major. I would like to work in trade. I like English and have a very huge urge to learn new language and culture. The reason I keep studying English is to be friends all over the world and to work abroad.
I think English writing is a very important skill to upgrade my English further. I decided to take this class this semester. Through this class, I want to know the very usual phrase in English. Then, I can communicate with the native more naturally.
I prefer the British accent, so I always try to speak like them. It's so difficult for me. I am not so good at pronunciation. I need to practice. I hope my English gets gorgeous through this class.
Nice to be your classmate. Have a good weekend! See you on Wednesday. :)
Whidley.

Rest In Peace, Amy Winehouse
The big talent has gone. Amy Winehouse was utterly amazing. The first time I heard her music was when a friend of mine from England introduced me some bands. Among them, Amy Winehouse became my favourite as soon as I listened to 'you know I'm no good'. Since then and thanks to my friend, I could know her and her music. I listened to it 50 times a day because I loved it! To get to know her more, I searched for some information about her. I was a bit shocked at her rehab stories. It's a shame that she passed away due to the addiction. She was a Jew, who I'm very interested in.
I was almost sad when I faced her sad news. On Facebook, there are many people who comment for her, R.I.P. I'm so sorry I haven't been in her concerts, and I will never be, either.

Wanna be a Londoner
Among the cities I've ever visited, London was the best. I still want to go to London every year, but don't have chances. As you know London is one of the most famous, expensive, and busiest cities in the world. I like London's lively, crowded, and various atmosphere. Also, London's cost of living is one of the most expensive ones in the world.
You see the zones from 1 to 6 in general. The closer to the central the more expensive the rent fee will be, of course. There are several places you can find cheaper and safer ones. In zone 3, the north London, Golders green is almost a Korean town. There is two Korean markets that you can buy some Korean food. Plus, you see many Jewish people because it's also Jewish town. There are some places the Jews gather and give services. It takes 30 minutes to get to the central London by tube and 50 minutes by bus.
The farther from central the cheaper the rent fee is. However, the time to get to central isn't so long. The tube is fast and there are express trains, but the tube companies sometime go on strike which is very annoying.
Also, there are many artistic places, loads of to see and enjoy, various people from everywhere, and so on. London is fascinating!
Along to the Thames, you see Big Ben, Parliament, Tate Modern(Contemporary gallery), London eye, St. Paul cathedral, Millennium Bridge, Tower Bridge, and so on. Strolling along the riverside, you listen to some live music which is very romantic.
Many diverse festivals are held every year so you can enjoy any. No dull moment ever!
The reasons I want to live in London are that I can meet people from any countries, and see tons of festivals, museums, exhibitions, and anything related with art&design. To be honest, the main reason I want to go there is I can enjoy more popularity among people. Some boys in Subway told me I was beautiful so the sandwich was the most delicious one I've ever tasted. Anyway, many boys and men was attracted by me! :D
Plus, I can travel to Europe in weekend. I just love to live as a foreigner. It's easier and more excited. I like to be UNIQUE!

Be Familiar with Korean Culture
When we talk about my mother, it's very natural to call 'my mother' as 'our mother'. It can be used in many ways to call someone or something: our father, our family, our house, our school, our company, and so on. It's because the culture is totally different. As I mentioned before, the connection between us makes these expressions. We are bounded with a strong relationship, but it's getting vanishing as each life goes hectic.
I would like foreigners to understand why we are curious about ages. We use a honorific so we need to know ages. However, I can see the merit of English. English makes people feel closer and more comfortable. There is a honorific in English, of course, but we don't need to say an-nyeong-ha-se-yo(안녕하세요), five syllables to say hello to the older. So I sometimes think speaking English is much more relaxing than Korean speaking. I obviously speak Korean much much much better, though.
What else..?

Which Things Would You Buy Online?
Today we discussed eCommerce. It has cons and pros as we did. Because of its disadvantages, I don't normally go shopping online. I still have time to look around and still have power to walk around. Actually, even though I say I am busy and busy, it's not as busy as those who are really busy.
There is one thing I like the online shopping. Last semester, I bought a silk scarf online for my assignment. To look for a scarf that I needed, I must have visited Dongdaemoon market where all the stuff related to clothes and beads are. Unfortunately, my school life at that time was hectic, so I couldn't step out of school at all. I decided to buy a scarf online because I can look it up, pay for it, and just wait. It saved my precious time a lot. Also, if I had been to Dongdaemoon market which has 4 buildings with 5 stories, I would have been exhausted as well as wasted my time. I just had to but one scarf, so for just one, it doesn't deserve to walk around to look for it.
Let me think of which items I wouldn't buy online. I will never purchase pants, jeans, and skirts online. I have a unbalanced body that my upper is slimmer than the lower. I always focus on how my lower half can look slimmer whenever I buy clothes. On the Internet shopping mall we can see the most idealistic models every single sites. There are some different ones, of course, like for pregnant women and so on. But in general good-shaped models are there and showing how clothes look on. I don't have such a good body and I need to cover my shortcomings. I always want to try them on before buying jeans or skirts.

Loads of things I like here!
Good morning, class. I am so happy that I write you about my favourite things. I don't know which I have to wrist first.
First of all, I do LOVE stationary. I love pens, pencils, notes, stickers, and so on. Whenever I go to Kyobo or pretty stationary shops I cannot leave as I am obsessed by them! So I have collected them a lot. I've got a bunch of stickers and I used to decorate my diary with the stickers, colured pencils, markers, and pens all day long at home. My mom always told me off how old I was so I was doing this stuff. Sorry for mom, but I didn't care because I love attaching the stickers with some awesome layout I created. It's a shame that I cannot show you how amazing my last year diary was. I've got some photos bit I'm in the subway so will add the photos after coming back home.
Secondly, I love buying brilliant notes and they are made with rough papers, the yellowish ones. Whenever I go to museums or exhibitions or somewhere notes or pencils are sold as souvenir I always purchase them! Love it! All my souvenirs I've got is pencils and notes. I feel mean when I choose a notebook I need. They are too precious to use up! That's why I buy and buy notebooks when I need one even though I've already got many. Also, I will attach the photos of them later.
Yes, I am so mad at stationary and I think that habit originated from my one-year-old party. In Korea we always celebrate the one-year-old birthday gathering together and preparing many dishes with a gold ring. There is a ceremony of the baby choosing one of things on the dish table randomly. Whatever he/she wants to grab. Of course, I did and all the stuff which are on the table have meaning. I will take some example. The money always means he/she will be rich. The thread means they are going to live longer. The pencils which I grabbed mean try are going to be smart, brilliant, and wise! I don't think much I am wise as the trailer said. However, I think the reason I am obsessed with stationary and I would like to work at travelling magazine company. I am not sure I will do but currently I want to do. It's because I like writing and travelling.
One more thing I like here. I am totally happy whenever I give some present to my lovely friend who I want to do for. Especially the gift I made with my hands. Also, notebooks for presents! I want to send gifts to all my friends abroad who shared the feelings with me but I cannot do for all because of my budget. Someday I get rich and I can afford them all I will do for sure.
Racism..
I do have a prejudice against racism, obviously. However, I have changed my attitude towards it recently. Before I went to London, I was afraid of facing the coloured-even though I also am- and didn't want them to talk to me on the street. I was wearing coloured glasses but as I made a living with various people all over the world I got more open-minded. I do not avoid black, for example, and I'd rather want to talk to them. I like to share each cultural shocking from each nation. Nonetheless, I am still afraid of the south eastern people, especially of men. When I was in London, I was a welcoming volunteer in Hillsong church-sorry, I am not a Christian, though- there were many Indian companies. They were all cool and I liked them but, you know, it's church. Also, I was in London so I could be brave enough to get closer to them. If I am in Korea and the south eastern someone talks to me I would be afraid a bit. I don't know why I would do but it's immediate perception. Or I don't want to talk the reason why I am afraid of them. I don't want to look down on them.
The racism always hurts every single person. I know if I discriminate someone for a certain reason I will be treated as the same someday. It's an obvious truth. So we don't think that way to judge someone with appearance only.
To get rid of racism in Korea, the government should try to give as many chances to have activities with foreigners as possible, especially to students. The fixed thoughts are made in young days through Disney animations and some films. If the government offers opportunities like English camps, multicultural camps, and so on to teenagers they can have more progressive thoughts. I don't know how many multicultural programmes in Korea but I do think it is required.

I am on the fence.
Sorry for being absent again, I had to register the next semester classes but I woke up at 9.15! How dare I did....
The North Korea and us, the South! When I was a teenager I thought reunification between us was not acceptable for me at all. I hated them because they almost extorted crops and cows even though the previous president told we aimed. They hurt us and they got food and animals from us. How ridiculous! Also, I didn't understand why they talked bigger than us and why we humbled ourselves before them. So I was against the reunification Because of those reasons.
However, I am now an adult who can think more seriously about the controversial topic. I am still against it a bit because I don't have to have the rest of my family in the North Korea, I don't want to pay much more tax for them, and I don't feel like sightseeing there. So no reason for the reunification.
On the other hand, if we look at the further future we can get even more benefits in reunification. While the North Korea has loads of mineral resources and labour force, the South has high technique and many of the talent. If each condition gathers we will be far stronger in economy. Yet there are much conflict on the political and social side. We can take an example of German having done and go upgrade our nation!
Many policies on reunification have been processing recently. It would be so mean; I would like to reunify after I die because it must cost a lot. I don't want to pay for it, absolutely. I am not a patriot. So I am on the fence of the reunification.
I am sure there will be a lot more advantages when we get reunified but the process will not so simple.

Are all the Internet gamings violent?
As I am also addicted to Internet gaming I want to say all the games are not so violent. The game that I am obsessed is to build my own town in Facebook app.
This is my town that I have run since November 2010. I cannot find any violence in this game. Of course, it hurts my eyes and it ruins my routine in some ways.
The reason I play the game is to relieve my stress. When I've got loads of things to do and I don't want to do any I play the Cityville. It makes me forget everything, which is a very big problem after all. After doing the game, I feel empty. I did control my city but nothing remains. Time has gone and I should have done in that time. So I try not to spend much time on it. I can handle it!
Unlike this kind of game, many violent game are too close to children. I was shocked in class listening to the actual circumstances. Also, they reminded me of ever being told those things.
To prevent too much exposure of the violent games the government shuts down several online games after midnight or so. Many elementary school students and adults complain against it. I don't think we can stop them paying these games all day long but we should help them. The violence of games are too violent!

The flashing streets
Hello, guys. It's been a long time! First ao all, I would like to apologise to Erika that I was absent today and didn't do homework during the weekend. Can I excuse me, please? Last weekedn was toally hectic. After the seminar which was absolutely useful and inspiring I had to help my sister because she leaves for Spain to travel to Europe. I stayed at my sister's and I tried to write an essay but it wasn't working! It was much worse than before. I was in trouble posting one, the cutted writing. do yu remember? Also, today I was taking a little exam to listen to English writing class for the next semester. The way to listen tothat class has changed. They separate the students into three level classes and I have to wait for the result. That's why I was absent today's class, sorry again. It took 30 minutes but this morning was like a war. My roommate made the next semester's timetable and I was helping her.
Anyway, from tomorrow I will be a good student AGAIN. Trust me. :)
I want to talk about the streets full of flashing signboards and walls. I will tell you my opinion based on the seminar that I attended.
Benetton is an Italian company that has been doing the global campaigns especially against the racism. Nowadays, they are changing the show windows from the normal one to the attractive one. They made several shops' windows flashing with huge screens and it's really attracting people.

It's in Milan, Italy.
The whole windows are filled with the screens so people can notice easily it'd benetton. It's beautiful, but it can harm the city's view.
What I want to say is if the flshing sowwindows are good or bad to see.
I think Milian is a quite historical city like most of European cities are. However, does it fit to the city's atmosphere,I mean. I know Milan is not oldschool but the building are very gorgeous and gothic. The dazzling showwindows and signboard cannot be matched as we discussed before.
Too much flashing signboards or showwindows are not good to see because it's too much. In addition, cosidering how it would go with the cities' mood is as important as how they show their tech and creativity.

The earth will be frozen!
Because we are trying to live more conveniently the earth gets sick. People say the global warming is coming and is now in process, actually. I think the global "cooling" is now processing.
Spring and autumn get shorter obviously and the temperature in summer gets higher and higher so we are just about to be boiled! That's why, I think, people are concerned about the earth gets warmer.
However, if we see stepping back from the very moment we will be in an ice age. It was reported once the little ice age would come in the near future. I agree with it overall.
The volcanos has exploded and the earthquake has been several areas. Accordingly, the sky gets covered with dust and something from our habitat. Those little things stop the sunshine coming into the earth and the amount of the sunshine will be decreasing. It will make the temparture on earth lower and we will be an ice age again! It's very natural cycle but many experts say it is too early compared to the normal phenomenon.
We should do something to delay this early coming ice age and we have actually been doing. I don't want to be dead frozen so let's save the earth!

Why men commit suicide more?
I'd like to talk about the reason men's suicide rate is much higher than women's. We talked about it briefly. The reason is men don't have time to chat with their friends what happened to him, how they felt, why they did in that way, and so on. Let me dig more in this part.
Obviously, men don't seem to chat a lot. Why? The society makes them quite. If a man is very talkative most of people included some guys probably think he is not so good. This atmosphere get men shut their mouths.
I can see the very example close to me, it's my boyfriend. When he has some problem he never tells me what he's suffering, what makes him depressed, something sounds weak. BUT he acts as if he is never in trouble, and always smiles at me. He always tries to show his good and gentle side to me. I don't understand him. Why does he think so? Men should always be nice, powerful, all right, not concerned, not sighing, not even crying! (Oh, I didn't mean my boyfriend would commit suicide because he never tells me his concern.)
As far as I'm concerned, I can see the men's habits. This makes men's suicide rate much more higher, and they feel pressure more than women do. Why? They are men. The society expects men to be stronger and men know that. What a miserable situation it is! I hope everybody is happy and no more suicide because of the pressure.

First of all, the level of the nudity depends on which part you want to advert. To understand you easily, let me take two cases of ad: jeans and loan. To attract the consumers of jeans, the company needs to emphasise the fit of the jeans. So the nudity of that ad can be acceptable. It's true when the other things except to the jeans come down the jeans are stressed.
On the other hand, the loan ad of Solomon which Jessica Gomez danced wetting in front of a fountain shows us the nudity is too much. She is being very sexy and attractive so that nobody can take the eyes away from her. I don't think, and my friends also don't think it is appropriate ad. It would have get more clientele, especially men. Anyway, it was too much.
As you can see, the nudity level can be acceptable or unacceptable in each occasion. These kinds of ads entertain us, but we should keep the line.

Still diligent we are!
This topic is also difficult and confusing to make the conclusion. I am not so firm in judging this kind of themes, but let me try. I will write down all my thought, which can be mass.
First of all, it is very clear my parents generation and ours aren't the same completely. That's because we didn't start each life-this phrase is pretty weird, isn't it?-at the different points, that is, as you all think, we were born in the better surrounding. They work hard and we study hard. Now they made some money so they started to enjoy their free time and now it's time for us to work hard to earn enough money for the future. We will work hard, but not in the same way of them. We have to know how we enjoy our spare time. Imagine you are an interviewer in

My thought on the pirated goods.
Good evening, class. Time to write Today's essay!
Modern people want to increase their life value in fashion and the nonmaterial part as we passed the less upgraded society. So people make trend and pirate some goods not to fall behind.
It's not an easy way of thinking that the restriction against loads of imitation would be working. The pirated goods satisfy many people's needs.
As far as I'm concerned, the restriction against the pirated goods is a must but is impossible.
I'm saying like that but I am not so conscionable. As you do, I download some old movies with a little amonut of paying compared to the real price in theatre. I have some softwares like photoshop, illustrator and so on without buying them. It's irresistable, though. I don't have enough money to buy them. If I make money a lot I don't think I will buy the expensive softwares. To be honest, I am so confused in this topic. I don't know how to say what is in my mind. As doing Today's homework I can be aware of the necessity of the higher level on essay..........Sorry I wrote incoherently... See you......

This is Whidly.
Hello, this is Whidly.
My English nickname came from one Korean word, "휘둘리다/hui-dul-li-da/" which is used when someone cannot have a certain opinion about something. I cannot be influenced by others so my boyfriend gave me that name. The Korean word and my nickname sound the same. If you don't understand just let it go. It doesn't matter. :)
My major is metal craft art&design, and I am a junior. I am not sure if I will keep my major for the future. Actually I am interested in editorial design so I'd like to be an editor. My dream is pretty vague. Because I couldn't find my way to go, my goal of this year is to find the way.
Something that I like is to collect attractive notes and interesting pencils and pens. I wish I would be given a fountain pen for my birthday present from someone. :P Two friends of mine gave me one for the last birthday present but my doggy chewed it so I cannot use any more. I was almost crying..
When I've got spare time I usually play game on Facebook; Cityville. I can build my own city and run it. Even if I am very busy doing assignment during the last semester I could hardly be away from the game. It really attract me. However, now it's the summer vacation that I was looking forward to so time to change! I will read as many books as I can and study art history as much as I can during the vacation.
There are 4 people in my family; father, mother and younger sister. We all live separately. My parents live together in Changwon, where I've been since I was 7, my sister lives alone near Taeneung station and I live at dormitory. I am utterly happy when I am in Changwon with my parents. They are very sweet.
I prefer the British English, the pronunciation as well. I always try to have the British accent but I was told that I spoke like Indian. I was hurt a little but am keeping practising it. I hope to have it someday.
That's it for today and let's get closer as the camp goes. It was nice to see you in class. Have a good night!
